In every semester the language club makes a competition which is battle of the band. This activity gets attention from student because there are many talented students in music and instrument. It actually take part by male student but still hoping that next time will have a participant from female student which can make this competition more success and alive. The language club may have their own objective why they make this competition. For us they make a correct activity because the participant sings English songs so that it will improve their language and pronunciation indirectly.

Battle of the band was held at multipurpose hall at 8.45 p.m. it start with give a question to the student who comes to watch the performance from all participants. Who get answer the question will given a special prizes from TLC. There are four judges which judge participant performance. Two juries judge on language, one on performance and one more on music. There are eleven band perform on that day. This semester makes a little bit differences from previous semester because there are very limited place provide to the audience so that audience need to come early to watch this competition. Not only have that to make sure we still care about ethics during the competition TLC arranged separate place between female and male.

Student also can get a special tag of battle of the band from the language club at only two ringgit per each. They sold it at front of multipurpose hall. All audience happy and enjoy with their performance. All bands give a big competition with each other. At the end of the competition we get know who the winner is.

1st place: antivirus (sweet child of mine)
2nd place: d‘marzio (rock you like hurricane)
3rd place: road ready (perfect situation)

Lost or win is not a matter as long as they can built their confidence and get more experience it more valuable. Hopefully this kind of activities will be continuing to the next semester. Congratulation to the the language club because successful doing their task.
